Seventeen year anniversary

I heard on Paul Harvey's program this morning that today is the anniversary of the day in 1988 that Saddam Hussein ordered a chemical attack on innocent Iraqis, killing 5,000. I can't find a reference to this on the web. (Of course I haven't looked very hard yet).
